Role Overview

Amazon is seeking an Operations Executive for its Amazon Now UFG (Ultra Fast Grocery) operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open to candidates with 0-1 years of experience who are prepared to contribute to a dynamic and evolving business model. The role involves supporting the redefinition of fast delivery services and managing third-party store operations.

About Amazon Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG)

Amazon Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) is a newly established organization focused on designing and launching innovative business models across the AMET region. This team is dedicated to building and running new services that enhance customer delivery experiences, specifically within the ultra-fast grocery sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily end-to-end Under The Roof (UTR) Operations for either a single large site or a combination of smaller sites, including supervising store operations.
• Ensure customer-facing metrics are met while maintaining operational and quality targets.
• Uphold the safety and morale of the operational team.
• Drive performance management for team members involved in picking operations.
• Prepare and implement training and development plans for pickers.
• Collaborate with merchant stakeholders to continuously improve operational processes and achieve sustained performance enhancements.
• Conduct daily 4M / 5S and Safety GEMBA audits for the stores.
• Provide support to the Area Manager as required, potentially acting as a point of contact for specific operational matters.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. A demonstrated ability to achieve results in previous roles or academic projects is beneficial. The role requires an individual capable of contributing to operational efficiency and team performance within a fast-paced environment.

Operational Standards and Team Leadership

The Operations Executive will ensure that Amazon policies, including attendance tracking, are implemented and administered fairly and consistently. This includes motivating, coaching, reporting on, and providing feedback regarding associates’ performance across productivity, quality, and safety to meet or exceed Amazon expectations.
