About the Role

Afaq - Warehouse Branch - J02 is seeking an Ops Tech SME, Quick Commerce, to support high-growth, technology-enabled operations in Riyadh. This full-time role requires 0-1 years of experience and involves acting as a crucial link between Operations, Product, and Tech teams.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure smooth launches, stable system workflows, and a positive customer experience. The Ops Tech SME will be responsible for troubleshooting system issues, validating operational accuracy, and supporting process readiness to enable successful day-one performance for new sites or products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead operational readiness and support launch activities, ensuring workflows, tools, and processes function as expected.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues through collaboration with Tech, Product, and Operations teams.
• Conduct structured testing, validate process accuracy, and identify gaps prior to launch.
• Support data validation related to operational workflows and customer-facing commitments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to resolve defects and ensure readiness for go-live.
• Monitor performance post-launch, escalate issues, and drive timely root-cause resolution.
• Identify recurring patterns, propose long-term fixes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders, providing timely updates, documentation, and status reports.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to act as a bridge between Operations, Product, and Tech teams.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting system issues and validating operational accuracy.
• Experience in supporting process readiness for new sites or products.
