Role Overview

The Patient Services Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the Patient Services and Front Desk teams, ensuring efficient patient flow and a high standard of service. This role involves managing staff, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining compliance with clinic policies and healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of the Patient Services and Front Desk teams.
• Ensure efficient patient registration, check-in, check-out, and appointment scheduling processes.
• Monitor patient flow and implement strategies to minimize waiting times.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and patient experience.
• Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Monitor staff attendance, performance, and productivity.
• Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate front-desk coverage.
• Train and coach Patient Services staff on customer service and clinic procedures.
• Monitor patient satisfaction and identify opportunities for service improvement.
• Ensure accuracy of patient information and proper documentation.
• Coordinate insurance and billing-related matters when applicable.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports related to patient services and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, quality standards, and healthcare regulations.
• Identify operational issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Support the Operations Manager in achieving patient service and operational KPIs.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience relevant to patient services or front desk supervision in a clinical or healthcare setting.
