The Role: Payroll Specialist

Abdulmohsen Al-Rasees & Sons Group is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join its finance and HR team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, on-site position is central to the accurate and timely management of the company's monthly payroll cycle. The specialist will ensure all salary, allowance, and deduction processes adhere strictly to company policies and local labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately process the full payroll cycle according to established schedules.
  • Maintain and update comprehensive employee payroll records, including data for new hires, promotions, leaves, and terminations.
  • Manage statutory obligations such as GOSI contributions and other mandated payments, alongside garnishments and court-ordered deductions.
  • Reconcile payroll data regularly with both the HR and Finance departments to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Prepare detailed payroll reports for management review and decision-making.
  • Provide essential support during internal and external audits related to payroll.
  • Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries efficiently and professionally.
  • Propose and implement process improvements aimed at enhancing payroll accuracy and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll taxes, GOSI regulations, and other statutory requirements in Saudi Arabia.
  • Practical experience utilizing HRIS/ERP systems for data entry, reconciliation, and reporting functions.
  • A diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Payroll Specialist or Payroll Officer, ideally within the real estate, construction, or large corporate sectors.

Essential Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Foundational understanding of basic accounting principles relevant to payroll and general ledger entries.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with discretion and integrity when handling sensitive employee and financial data.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position located at the company's offices in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Payroll Specialist will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing to the efficient operation of the finance and HR departments.
