About the PMV Engineer Role

BEC Arabia is seeking a qualified PMV Engineer (Plant, Machinery & Vehicles) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in managing construction equipment operations, ensuring availability, coordinating maintenance, and providing technical support to optimize project machinery utilization.

Key Responsibilities

The PMV Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the heavy equipment fleet. This includes overseeing daily operations, coordinating the mobilization and deployment of assets according to project timelines and demands, and closely monitoring equipment utilization, availability, and overall performance. A significant aspect of the role involves coordinating all preventive maintenance schedules and reactive repair activities to minimize downtime. The engineer will also maintain accurate records of equipment, including inspections and certification documentation, ensuring all assets comply with safety regulations and project-specific requirements. Collaboration with logistics and construction teams for effective equipment planning and support for cost optimization initiatives are also key duties.

Essential Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant PMV experience within the construction industry.
• Demonstrated strong experience in managing heavy equipment fleets.
• Proven experience with cranes and major construction machinery.
• Experience on GCC mega projects is considered an advantage.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The PMV Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all plant, machinery, and vehicles essential to project execution.
