About the Role

alfanar, a company with construction and manufacturing businesses, design & development centers, and facilities across the Middle East and beyond, is seeking a Pre-Qualification & Prescription Manager for its Utilities sector. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 6 to 10 years of experience.

Role Purpose and Context

The Pre-Qualification & Prescription Manager will oversee prequalification processes and ensure excellence in prescription activities. This role involves managing and leading a team to achieve high standards, directly contributing to the company's success in project pursuits within the power and water sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the formulation and implementation of Power & Water sales strategies, plans, and processes for power generation, transmission, distribution, and water systems.
• Monitor modifications to submitted documents, approvals, or requirements from end users and consultants in the power and water sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international end users, consultants, and key stakeholders in the power and water sectors.
• Monitor achievements and deviations in marketing and sales plans, reporting progress and recommending corrective actions to management.
• Ensure effective implementation of the prequalification strategy by setting objectives, managing performance, and fostering a high-performing team.
• Coordinate power and water-related products and solutions across alfanar's units to ensure a cohesive market presence.
• Provide and implement tools to meet market requirements, supporting technical specification and compliance for power and water sector clients.
• Stay informed about market trends and requirements, identifying market needs for current and future power and water solutions through research and customer interactions.
• Conduct market research, including customer visits, to identify current and future requirements for power and water products.
• Forecast long- and short-term market potential for the power and water sectors in Saudi Arabia.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards within the power and water sales domain.
• Provide comprehensive support to local end users and clients adopting alfanar’s power and water solutions.

Work Location and Type
