The Structural Engineering Team

Cundall’s Structural Engineering team provides expertise in designing sustainable structural solutions that minimize resource use. As one of Cundall's established disciplines, the team offers a collaborative environment for professional development and excellence.

The Role: Principal/Associate Structural Engineer

This full-time position is for an experienced Principal/Associate Structural Engineer to join the team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working on structural design projects within KSA and the broader region. Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed structural calculations for various materials using appropriate software.
Work across diverse sectors, including Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail, and Critical Systems.
Monitor and review the work of engineers and technicians.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong practical experience in structural engineering within a consultancy setting.
Proficiency in design and modeling software such as Etabs, Safe, SAP, Robot, Prokon, and IDEA StatiCa.
Familiarity with producing design solutions in multiple materials, including steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry.
Chartered status (MIStructE) or actively working towards Chartership.
Knowledge of Building Codes (UAE/KSA) and international codes.
Experience in preparing structural calculations, design reports, and presentations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated initiative in overcoming challenges.
