About the Role

AECOM is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a highly experienced professional capable of managing structural design, site activities, and technical coordination for construction and infrastructure projects. The role involves working with engineering consultancy firms to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee structural engineering activities across construction and infrastructure projects.
• Review structural designs, drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Ensure structural works comply with approved designs, project specifications, and relevant standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor structural construction activities.
• Review and approve method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings.
• Monitor quality and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the structural engineering team.
• Identify and resolve structural design and construction issues.
• Prepare technical reports and provide recommendations to project management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, construction, and infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience working with engineering consultancy firms.
• Demonstrated capability in managing structural design, site activities, and technical coordination.
