Sr. Structural Engineer

About the Role

AECOM Saudi Arabia is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a highly experienced professional to lead and oversee structural engineering activities across various construction and infrastructure projects. The role involves managing structural design, site activities, and technical coordination, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee structural engineering activities for construction and infrastructure projects.
• Review structural designs, drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Ensure structural works adhere to approved designs, project specifications, and relevant industry standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor structural construction activities.
• Review and approve method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings.
• Monitor quality and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the structural engineering team.
• Identify and resolve structural design and construction challenges.
• Prepare technical reports and provide recommendations to project management.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, construction, and infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience working with engineering consultancy firms.
• Demonstrated capability in managing structural design, site activities, and technical coordination.
