About the Role

LanceSoft Middle East is seeking a Procurement Consultant, Pharmaceutical Category to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This contract role focuses on leading strategic sourcing and category management initiatives for pharmaceutical products within healthcare organizations.

Role Context and Objectives

The consultant will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive supplier strategies and negotiating agreements to ensure optimal supply chain performance. A primary objective is to improve supply continuity and deliver sustainable cost savings, all while upholding stringent quality and patient care standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic category plans for pharmaceutical products.
• Lead sourcing projects and conduct supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms.
• Establish and nurture strategic vendor partnerships and framework agreements.
• Identify and implement opportunities to reduce procurement costs and optimize overall spend.
• Enhance product availability and proactively mitigate supply chain risks.
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy, clinical, finance, and supply chain teams to drive organizational value.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management, specifically within the pharmaceutical sector.
