Procurement Manager

About the Role

Cornerstone Global Partners (CGP Group) is seeking a Procurement Manager to join a growing construction contractor client in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves establishing a centralized procurement function across all projects within KSA, encompassing both Civil and MEP divisions. The role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Role Overview

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for building and leading the procurement and stores teams. This is a foundational role focused on creating a unified procurement process. The manager will oversee cost control, compliance, and the entire procurement lifecycle from initial request to final delivery across all KSA projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish procurement policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and approval matrices.
• Consolidate all purchasing activities under one controlled process across every project.
• Lead the transition to ERP-based procurement systems.
• Centralize stores and inventory control functions across all operational sites.
• Develop and manage a pre-qualified vendor base, including both local and international suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and supply contracts with vendors.
• Provide support to the tendering team by securing supplier pricing prior to contract awards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15 to 20 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the construction sector.
• Demonstrated experience in establishing and managing procurement functions.
• Proficiency in procurement best practices and supply chain management.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time basis. The Procurement Manager will work within a growing construction contractor environment, leading a dedicated team.
