About the Role

Staff Connect Saudi is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing and optimizing procurement activities across the Group, focusing on strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization. The Procurement Manager will ensure the timely availability of goods and services across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the Group's business objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, evaluation, negotiation, purchase orders, and contracts.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local and international suppliers.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favorable payment and delivery terms.
  • Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approval processes, and applicable Saudi regulations.
  • Develop and maintain approved supplier lists, procurement documentation, and contracts.
  • Monitor procurement spend and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Projects, Legal, and other business functions to understand requirements and ensure timely procurement.
  • Manage procurement budgets, forecasts, and reporting.
  • Establish appropriate procurement KPIs and prepare regular management reports.
  • Assess supplier risks and develop alternative sourcing strategies where required.
  • Support digitalization and automation of procurement processes and systems.
  • Lead and mentor the procurement team and ensure adherence to best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within a large conglomerate, diversified group, or multi-business organization.
  • Strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and procurement operations.
  • Good understanding of the Saudi supplier and procurement market.
  • Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience working with ERP/procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and governance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Location

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with potential responsibilities extending to Jeddah.
