About the Role

Rawaj-HCM is seeking a Procurement Officer Furniture to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is within the furniture industry and requires a professional with a solid background in furniture procurement and a deep understanding of the Saudi Arabian market. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end procurement processes, focusing on sourcing high-quality furniture and ensuring project delivery within budget and compliance with local regulations.

Role Context

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing all aspects of furniture procurement, from vendor selection and negotiation to logistics and compliance. This involves building strong relationships with suppliers and ensuring that all procurement activities align with project timelines and budgetary constraints, while adhering to Saudi market regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international furniture manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Build and maintain a robust Approved Vendor List (AVL) tailored to the KSA market.
• Review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), technical specifications, and project drawings to prepare Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Tenders.
• Conduct commercial and technical evaluations to prepare detailed price comparison sheets.
• Negotiate optimal pricing, payment terms, warranties, and delivery schedules to maximize cost savings.
• Oversee shipping, customs clearance, and supply chain logistics for imported furniture.
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations, including registration and certification via the SABER platform and SASO standards.
• Coordinate sample approval processes (Mock-ups) with designers and client representatives.
• Track purchase orders from production to site delivery, ensuring zero disruption to project timelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in procurement, specifically within the furniture industry.
• Demonstrated deep knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market and its regulations.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end procurement processes effectively.
• Experience in vendor relationship management and negotiation.
