About the Role

Transit Stations Company is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves overseeing project schedules, costs, and performance to ensure adherence to approved plans and budgets. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in project planning and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and develop detailed project schedules, monitoring their implementation against approved plans.
Monitor actual achievement rates and compare them with approved timelines and budgets.
Track actual costs and financial commitments, comparing them against the estimated budget for each project.
Analyze time and financial deviations, identify their root causes, and propose corrective actions.
Prepare periodic reports detailing project progress, achievement rates, expenditures, and remaining amounts.
Develop interactive dashboards to display project progress indicators for senior management.
Review financial extracts and reconcile them with actual achievement rates in coordination with relevant departments.
Monitor contractor performance and adherence to contractual timelines and budgets.
Prepare final project cost forecasts (Estimate at Completion) and expected delivery dates.
Identify critical path activities and monitor potential risks to project completion dates.
Coordinate with project management, financial management, and contractors to ensure the accuracy of achievement and cost data.
Prepare executive reports for senior management, including project status, deviations, and necessary recommendations.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering specialization.
Practical experience of 3 to 5 years in project planning and cost control.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
Experience in preparing and monitoring project budgets and analyzing financial and time deviations.
Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies.
Ability to prepare performance reports and monitoring dashboards for senior management.
Experience in construction, infrastructure, or fuel station projects is preferred.
High analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
