Project Controls Manager( Aviation)

About the Role

Parsons is seeking a Project Controls Manager to join its Aviation team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time role involves developing, managing, and executing all phases of project controls for significant aviation and transportation infrastructure projects. The manager will ensure projects are completed on schedule, within or below budget, and in accordance with client requirements.

Role Overview

The Project Controls Manager will provide leadership across all phases of project controls efforts. This position requires diversified knowledge and extensive experience in various project types and client engagements. The manager will lead a team of professionals covering all aspects of project controls functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and specialized assistance for resolving complex project control problems.
• Interface with clients, attend regular meetings, and offer strategic recommendations on critical matters to support decision-making.
• Guide the development and implementation of project controls procedures to support best practices in schedule, cost, earned value, risk, and change management processes.
• Manage a team of Project Control staff responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and forecasting project costs and performance against established schedules and critical milestones.
• Recommend and oversee the implementation and customization of project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
• Coordinate staffing requirements, assign and supervise project work activities, and provide personnel training.
• Complete performance reviews and facilitate personnel development for assigned employees.
• Perform other responsibilities as appropriate to the position.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls is required.
• Demonstrated experience in managing project controls efforts for significant aviation and transportation infrastructure projects or programs.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team of project control professionals.
• Extensive experience and knowledge across various project types and client engagements.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, and is a full-time position within Parsons' Aviation team. The Project Controls Manager will work in a collaborative environment, interfacing with clients and leading a dedicated team of project control professionals.
