The Role of Senior Project Controls Manager

Mace is seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager to join its established and growing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves working on a major mixed-use development, one of the largest programs in Saudi Arabia, which includes sports facilities, entertainment, arts, and associated infrastructure. The role focuses on providing programme management and requires an ambitious and forward-thinking professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and delivery of PMO and project controls services across commissions.
• Manage the performance and integration of PMO, planning, and project controls functions.
• Design and implement PMO and project controls frameworks and strategies.
• Direct clients, consultants, and project teams on all related matters.
• Build strong client relationships and ensure expectations are met.
• Provide expert advice on cost, schedule, change, risk, and reporting processes.
• Facilitate governance, performance meetings, and structured reporting.
• Develop and manage baselines, monitoring delivery performance and change.
• Contribute to quantitative cost and time analysis.
• Collaborate with PMO directors and project managers to identify actions and mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with Mace Control Centre, client requirements, and regulations.
• Mentor and manage PMO and project controls team members, supporting recruitment and development.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience supporting PMO and project controls delivery within the construction and/or consultancy sectors.
• Holds APM Planning and Project Controls (PPC) Foundation and Practitioner certifications.
• Progressing toward Chartered status and membership in a relevant professional institution (*, APM).
