AtkinsRéalis is seeking a dedicated Project Manager (PMC Roads & Highways) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects within the region. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to significant road and highway developments, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of project management and execution.

Role Overview

The Project Manager (PMC Roads & Highways) will oversee the comprehensive execution of road and highway construction projects from inception to completion. This involves ensuring all project phases, including planning, design coordination, construction, safety protocols, and quality control, are managed efficiently, within allocated budgets, and according to established schedules. The manager serves as the primary point of contact and interface among contractors, consultants, key stakeholders, and relevant government authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall project planning, execution, monitoring, and control of road construction works.
• Prepare project execution plans (PEP), detailed timelines, work programs, and comprehensive resource plans.
• Manage daily construction activities, including earthworks, pavement, drainage systems, utilities, and traffic diversions.
• Coordinate effectively with consultants, government authorities, and subcontractors on technical and permitting matters.
• Ensure strict compliance with project specifications, industry standards (such as AASHTO, ASTM, and local codes), and all safety regulations.
• Monitor the project budget, track cost performance, and manage cash flows.
• Conduct regular site inspections, resolve technical issues promptly, and approve work methods.
• Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
• Lead progress meetings, prepare weekly and monthly reports, and address critical delays.
• Identify potential project risks and implement effective mitigation plans.
• Ensure the consistent implementation of Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) plans across the project.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 12–15 years of experience in managing major road and highway infrastructure projects is required.

Work Location and Employment Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a strong on-site presence and active engagement with project teams and stakeholders in the Riyadh region.
