Project Manager

About the Role

DAR Engineering, a design and engineering consulting organization in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Project Manager. This full-time role involves leading and overseeing the successful delivery of a major high-rise building project in Makkah. The Project Manager will ensure project delivery aligns with approved scope, contractual requirements, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall planning, management, and delivery of projects from inception through completion and handover.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership throughout the design and construction phases.
• Oversee and coordinate design development, construction supervision, and site execution activities.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project specifications, approved drawings, and applicable standards.
• Manage and administer contracts in accordance with FIDIC principles and other relevant construction contract requirements.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules, budgets, and key milestones.
• Establish and maintain effective project management procedures, controls, reporting, and governance mechanisms.
• Identify project risks, delays, and potential issues, implementing appropriate mitigation and corrective actions.
• Lead coordination among the client, consultants, contractors, designers, and other key stakeholders.
• Review and provide direction on project programs, resource requirements, progress reports, and recovery plans.
• Oversee construction supervision activities to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
• Manage contractual matters, including variations, claims, extensions of time, and other project-related issues.
• Provide regular project updates and executive-level reporting to senior management and the client.
• Ensure successful project completion, testing, commissioning, handover, and close-out.

Qualifications and Experience

• A seasoned engineering professional with over 10 years of experience.
• Extensive experience in contract management, design coordination, construction supervision, project execution, and project controls.
