The Role: Part-Time Mental Health Therapist (Minor Care Specialization)

Spring Health is seeking a qualified, part-time internationally licensed psychotherapist to join its provider network in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves delivering mental health care through a tech-enabled platform that utilizes AI and machine learning to prioritize patient outcomes. The position requires 2-5 years of experience, with a specialization in treating minors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling to clients under various benefit structures, from short-term, goal-focused EAP to employer health plans allowing medically necessary sessions.
  • Treat adults who have completed evidence-based online screenings to identify symptoms and concerns.
  • Maintain a calendar of availability and complete session documentation promptly within the scheduling system.
  • Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities and interventions tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with the dedicated provider support team, licensed clinical care navigation team, and administrative care support team as needed.
  • Deliver culturally competent and empathetic care, upholding values of diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proper qualification and licensure to practice counseling (*, Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Clinical Psychologist) in Saudi Arabia. Applications requiring clinical supervision cannot be accepted.
  • Active professional liability insurance at market rates in the country of licensure.
  • A minimum of 3 years of independent clinical experience.
  • Qualification and prior experience in treating minors (ages 6+).
  • Access to a computer or laptop, comfort with technology, and tele-health competency.
  • Training and experience in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, or CPT.
  • Comfort with providing safety planning and intervention in situations involving higher client risks.
  • Commitment to quality clinical care and a desire to enhance capabilities through client progress feedback.
  • Ability to work independently while appreciating team support and opportunities for collaboration.
  • Preference for candidates open to treating additional populations such as children, adolescents, couples, or families.

Work Environment and Benefits

This part-time position offers flexibility, allowing therapists to set their own schedules. Work can be conducted remotely from any confidential, private location with stable internet access. Spring Health manages administrative tasks such as marketing, insurance eligibility checks, fee collection, and claims submission, enabling therapists to focus on clinical care.
