About the Role

alfanar is seeking a QA / QC Civil Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is essential for ensuring that all products and projects meet required standards of quality, reliability, and performance. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of quality control procedures and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure conformity of drawings, including dimensions and embedments, and communicate with designers for clarity on conflicts.
• Follow issued Requests for Information (RFIs), provide comments, and monitor the rectification of comments.
• Represent the department for joint inspections with consultants, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Verify that only approved materials are utilized in project execution and clarify any project arrangements requiring execution.
• Raise quality concerns encountered to prevent recurrence.
• Report non-conformities and observations, including required Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and follow up on corrective action implementations.
• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets as per delivery schedules, utilizing resources effectively.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
• Solve related problems and escalate complex operational issues as needed.

Quality Assurance and Process Improvement

• Support the development and implementation of effective quality control procedures and processes, including specifications for products or activities.
• Conduct inspections and audits, analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and work with teams to address quality issues.
• Enhance processes to improve efficiency and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for all Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs).
• Monitor the implementation of Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities where possible.

Compliance and Professional Development

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
• Comply with all related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure adherence to relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined work area.
• Obtain updated soft and technical skills relevant to the job.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a QA/QC Civil Engineering role.
• Proven ability to follow quality processes and ensure project standards.
• Experience with inspections, audits, and data analysis for quality improvement.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working collaboratively with senior engineers and cross-functional teams within a dynamic project environment, contributing to ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
