About KBR Saudi Arabia and the Project

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking a dedicated QA QC Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is integral to a major infrastructure programme for a mixed-use development, envisioned as a global landmark and a distinct, self-sustaining hub for Riyadh. KBR provides Project Management Consultancy services for this initiative, covering project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and the implementation of development and early works packages.

Role Overview

The QA QC Manager reports directly to the Project Director and holds responsibility for the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of the programme quality plan. This ensures adherence to client requirements and the successful delivery of a quality project. The role requires the application of established quality systems and tools to validate and verify contractually required standards throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a QA/QC team to ensure the programme is delivered to the specified quality standards.
Develop, implement, and continuously monitor the programme Quality plan.
Communicate the quality plan and its objectives effectively to staff, consultants, and contractors.
Provide support to all Consultants, Design Consultants, Design, Construction Supervision Consultants, and contractors in implementing Quality plans and procedures, and monitor their performance on all Quality matters.
Develop and implement comprehensive audit schedules and plans, including conducting unannounced visits.
Generate statistical reports detailing Quality performance.
Identify and communicate lessons learned throughout the programme lifecycle.
Manage the programme's quality control testing services.
Coordinate and manage any required 3rd party audits.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 15 years of total professional experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar QA QC Manager role.
Minimum of 5 years of working experience within the Middle East region.

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves working within a dynamic project environment focused on large-scale infrastructure development. The QA QC Manager will lead a dedicated team and collaborate with various stakeholders, including consultants and contractors, to uphold the highest quality standards.
