Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves managing all aspects of quantity surveying for large-scale projects, ensuring accuracy in measurements, cost estimates, and financial tracking.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure completed works and verify contractor interim payment applications.
• Review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), variations, quotations, and rate build-ups.
• Conduct site measurements and maintain accurate quantity records.
• Prepare cost estimates, commercial comparisons, and budget updates.
• Maintain payment, variation, procurement, and cost-tracking registers.
• Support claims assessment, cash-flow forecasting, and final-account preparation.
• Coordinate measurements and commercial information with discipline engineers.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Economics.
• Minimum of 10 years of quantity surveying experience.
• Demonstrated experience on large-scale mixed-use residential and commercial projects.
• Relevant professional registration or membership is preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of BOQs, measurement standards, interim payments, variations, and rate analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and recognised quantity-surveying or cost-management software.
• Strong numerical, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Quantity Surveyor will contribute to significant construction projects within a professional consulting environment.
