Real Estate Facilities officer

About the Role

Abdullah Abdulaziz AlRajhi & Sons Holding is seeking a Real Estate Facilities Officer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing the operation and management of the company's properties and facilities, ensuring their readiness and operational efficiency. The officer will also monitor maintenance activities to preserve property value and enhance operational and investment returns.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise the daily operations of properties and facilities, such as malls, commercial complexes, and administrative buildings, ensuring efficient and continuous operational services.
2. Monitor the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance work according to approved schedules, and ensure that faults are addressed within specified timeframes.
3. Coordinate with maintenance, cleaning, security, and operational service companies and contractors, ensuring work is performed according to approved requirements and standards.
4. Ensure the readiness of facilities, systems, and essential services, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, water, and elevator systems, and verify their operational safety.
5. Monitor maintenance, operation, cleaning, security, and related service contracts, ensuring compliance with contract terms and agreed-upon service levels.
6. Oversee the cleanliness standards inside and outside the facilities, ensuring the application of cleanliness standards and maintaining the general appearance of the sites.
7. Monitor security and guarding operations, ensuring adherence to approved security procedures and instructions, and reporting any security and safety observations.
8. Conduct regular field tours of properties and facilities to identify observations, faults, risks, and operational needs, and follow up on necessary actions.
9. Monitor the performance of service companies and contractors, assess compliance levels and work quality, and prepare periodic reports with necessary observations and recommendations.
10. Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health requirements, and relevant facility and operational regulations and bylaws, and monitor the resolution of risks and violations.
11. Monitor the readiness of safety, fire fighting, alarm, and evacuation systems, and ensure regular inspections and tests are conducted according to approved requirements.
12. Handle emergencies and operational issues, coordinating with relevant authorities and specialized contractors to take appropriate actions and ensure business continuity.
13. Propose improvements and developments that contribute to enhancing facility operational efficiency and improving the quality of maintenance, cleaning, and security services.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 3 years of relevant experience in real estate and facilities management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing property operations and maintenance.
