  • Evaluate opportunities for joint ventures, technology partnerships, local industrialization, and other long-term cooperation models.
  • Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers and serve as a trusted commercial interface between Destinus and key regional partners.
  • Analyze regional defense priorities, procurement frameworks, industrial policies, competitive dynamics, and localization requirements to identify new opportunities.
  • Develop business cases and partnership strategies for priority countries and opportunities across the region.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development, Legal, Finance, Engineering, Production, and other internal teams to ensure partnerships are commercially attractive, technically feasible, and executable.
  • Represent Destinus in partner meetings, industry events, and strategic discussions throughout the Middle East.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is strategic yet highly hands-on, possessing the ability to build trust across diverse cultures and navigate complex stakeholder environments. You should be comfortable operating with autonomy, initiating new engagements, negotiating at a senior level, and responding quickly to emerging opportunities. This role is suited for an individual who thrives in an ambitious international environment and seeks to play a direct role in expanding Destinus' presence across the Middle East.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Advanced degree in Business, International Relations, Engineering, or a relevant discipline. An MBA is considered a plus.
  • 5-10 years of significant experience in partnerships, business development, strategic alliances, or international commercial roles within the defense, aerospace, or adjacent high-technology industries.
  • Strong understanding of the Middle Eastern defense ecosystem, including government stakeholders, defense organizations, industrial players, procurement structures, and localization initiatives.
  • Proven ability to build trusted senior-level relationships and navigate complex, multicultural stakeholder environments.
  • Experience structuring and negotiating strategic partnerships, industrial cooperation agreements, joint ventures, localization, or co-production arrangements.
  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to translate regional opportunities into clear partnership strategies and business cases.
