Return Officer

About the Role

Ninja, a quick-commerce company, is seeking a Return Officer to join the Return DC Operations team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role is responsible for the accurate and safe receiving of store returns across ambient, chilled, and frozen categories, ensuring proper system and documentation traceability.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and verify store returns against Gate Pass details.
• Count, scan, and accurately record returned items in the WMS/WHM system.
• Check quantities, units of measure, expiry dates, batch details, and product condition.
• Identify and document shortages, excess quantities, damages, and other discrepancies.
• Properly segregate returns based on product category, condition, and required disposition.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, PPE, and cold-chain requirements for chilled and frozen products.
• Receive and reconcile returnable assets such as pallets and baskets.
• Escalate discrepancies and quality or cold-chain concerns to relevant teams.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper shift handovers.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in warehouse receiving, returns, or general warehouse operations.
• Experience handling food products, with a preference for chilled and frozen items.
• Hands-on experience with WMS, WHM, or a similar warehouse management system.
• Experience using scanners and managing warehouse transactions.

Required Skills

• Good communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and report discrepancies effectively.

Work Environment

The role requires a willingness to work in temperature-controlled environments and to consistently follow established safety and hygiene procedures.
