About the Sales Account Director Role

BioCatch is a leader in Behavioral Biometrics, utilizing machine learning to analyze user behavior online for protection. The company's mission is to provide actionable insights derived from behavior to foster a digital environment where identity, trust, and ease coexist. BioCatch serves over 35 of the top 100 global banks, helping them combat fraud, advance digital transformation, and accelerate business growth. We are seeking a Sales Account Director to join our team in Saudi Arabia, with primary locations in Riyadh or Jeddah. This is a full-time position reporting to the Regional VP.

Key Responsibilities

The Sales Account Director will be responsible for driving sales revenue from new and prospective BioCatch accounts, with a focus on developing new business within these target accounts. This role involves creating and executing strategic account plans, managing opportunities through to successful closure with a consultative approach, and establishing strategic partnerships with customers and channel partners to align with BioCatch's go-to-market strategy. Collaboration with executive management and BioCatch leadership is essential to exceed sales objectives and enhance customer success. The role also requires working closely with the commercial team, including Business Development, Pre-Sales/Sales Engineering, and Account Management, to maximize revenue and technology adoption while ensuring customer satisfaction. Developing BioCatch's brand within prospective accounts, managing accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting, and supporting the overall business case are also key duties.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess ideally 8+ years of experience in selling technology solutions, with a recent emphasis on solution selling to banks, financial markets, or complex enterprise environments. Experience in selling cyber security, fraud, or authentication solutions, coupled with a solid understanding of SaaS/Cloud-based solutions, is required. The role demands experience in complex direct sales, with a proven track record of closing multi-million dollar deals within the banking, credit card, financial services, or similar sectors. A proactive, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial mindset with a consultative sales approach is crucial, as is the ability to thrive in a scale-up environment with a commitment to success.

Essential Skills and Attributes

Excellent communication, written, and verbal presentation skills are necessary to articulate business value across multiple stakeholder levels, including C-level executives. The ideal candidate will have a strong, established network of banking clients in the region and advanced skills in connecting with executive-level prospects. A proactive and self-motivated entrepreneurial individual with a consultative sales approach who thrives in a scale-up environment, with a “can-do” mentality and a commitment to succeed is sought. Fluency in English is mandatory. The role requires a willingness to undertake frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel.

Work Location and Travel

The primary work location for this role is Riyadh, with Jeddah also being a possibility. While the role is based in Saudi Arabia, there is an openness to travel to the UAE frequently for customer meetings. The position requires the willingness to undertake frequent domestic travel within Saudi Arabia and infrequent international travel.
