About Apparel Group and the Role

Apparel Group is seeking a Sales Associate to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is based in Riyadh and is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in a retail environment. The Sales Associate will be instrumental in representing the brand and contributing to store sales.

Role Objective

The primary objective of the Sales Associate is to maximize and contribute to sales within the store by delivering exceptional customer service and a positive retail experience. This role also involves performing various operational duties, including store maintenance and ensuring visual presentation standards are met, as directed by store management.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide assistance in product selection.
• Engage customers to convert window shoppers into buyers.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage repeat sales.
• Serve customers according to company guidelines, following the GUEST selling process (Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank).
• Maintain current knowledge of the group's various brands for suggestive selling.
• Ensure all stock is laid out and displayed effectively to attract customers and adhere to standard layout norms.
• Follow all Visual Merchandising (VM) guidelines and maintain stock norms for clearance items.

Operational Duties and Process Management

• Efficiently operate the Point of Sale (POS) / Billing Counter.
• Tally cash in the till at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Accurately issue receipts, process refunds, and provide change to customers.
• Process payments via cash, credit cards, vouchers, and automatic debits.
• Record inventory inward/outward and maintain corresponding reports.
• Maintain awareness and vigilance regarding store security without negligence.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Loss Prevention Policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of sales figures.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in a retail or customer service role.
• Must be presentable and well-groomed at all times.
• Possess up-to-date product knowledge and contribute to minimizing stock loss.
• Flexibility to work extended hours during sale periods and varied shifts as per business requirements.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime as business needs dictate.
