About the Role

Ethra Human Resources is seeking a SAP Platform Operation & Security Lead (BASIS / GRC) for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is responsible for the comprehensive management of SAP platform operations, ensuring system stability, and upholding security governance across the entire SAP landscape. The position requires 5-10 years of experience and involves close coordination with HEC, functional teams, and business stakeholders to maintain secure, compliant, and highly available SAP systems.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The SAP Platform Operation & Security Lead will oversee all aspects of SAP BASIS operations, including system stability, performance monitoring, and incident resolution. A key focus will be on SAP security and access management, encompassing the design and management of SAP roles and authorizations. The role also involves managing SAP GRC Access Control, access risk management, and providing support for audit and compliance requirements. Responsibilities extend to system patching, transports, refreshes, and upgrades, as well as coordinating with HEC to manage SLA requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end SAP platform operations.
• Ensuring SAP system stability and performance.
• Overseeing SAP BASIS operations and incident resolution.
• Managing SAP security and access governance.
• Designing and managing SAP roles and authorizations.
• Administering SAP GRC Access Control and access risk management.
• Supporting audit and compliance requirements.
• Managing system patching, transports, refreshes, and upgrades.
• Coordinating with HEC and managing SLA requirements.
• Ensuring security and integration for related systems including SuccessFactors, CPI, BTP, and Fiori.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 7 to 9 years of experience in SAP BASIS and SAP Security. Proven experience in managing SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud hosted on HEC or similar cloud platforms is essential. Hands-on experience with SAP GRC Access Control and in providing audit compliance support is also required. A strong understanding of SAP BASIS administration, transport management, and system monitoring is necessary. Furthermore, a solid grasp of SAP security, role design, Segregation of Duties (SoD) concepts, and access governance is critical for this role.

Preferred Skills and Background

• SAP BASIS, SAP Security, or SAP GRC certification is preferred.
• Experience with SuccessFactors, SAP CPI, SAP BTP, and SAP Fiori security and integrations is preferred.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Saudi nationality is preferred.

Work Environment and Communication

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires strong English communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners. The SAP Platform Operation & Security Lead will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and security of the organization's SAP environment.
