About the SDMX Data Warehouse & Reporting Consultant Role

emagine is seeking an experienced SDMX Data Warehouse & Reporting Consultant to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on designing and enhancing enterprise data warehouse solutions to align with SDMX standards, thereby improving statistical data governance and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement data warehouse solutions that comply with SDMX standards.
• Define and maintain SDMX Data Structure Definitions (DSDs), metadata models, classifications, and code lists.
• Develop and support the creation of statistical indicators, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.
• Design and implement data integration and ETL processes from various source systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements for reporting and data management.
• Maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and governance documentation.
• Ensure data quality and adherence to established standards.
• Support the implementation of data exchange mechanisms using SDMX standards.
• Design and develop dashboards and reports to support decision-making processes.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, testing, and provide user acceptance support.
• Provide technical guidance on data architecture and reporting solutions.
• Prepare necessary documentation and deliver knowledge transfer sessions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Warehouse, BI, Data Integration, or Reporting projects.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with SDMX standards.
• A strong understanding of statistical data modelling and governance principles.
• Proven experience in designing enterprise data warehouse solutions.
• Expertise in developing KPIs, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Solid ETL development experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database design.
• Experience with data quality and validation processes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience within Government, Public Sector, or Statistics Authorities.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting frameworks.
• Knowledge of master data management frameworks.
• Experience in large-scale data transformation programs.

Work Location and Contract Details

This is an onsite position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The initial contract duration is for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
