About the Role

National Medical Care Company (Care) is seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves ensuring the safety and security of the hospital environment, its occupants, and assets. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience and a commitment to maintaining a secure facility.

Role Purpose

Under direct supervision, the Security Guard is responsible for patrolling assigned areas on foot to protect hospital employees, patients, visitors, property, and equipment. This position is critical for controlling and monitoring access to and from hospital buildings, as well as responding to and monitoring criminal and fire alarm systems as required, contributing to a safe and secure healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol assigned areas to ensure the security of buildings, including checking doors, windows, lights, and equipment.
  • Record and report any damage to property or criminal incidents.
  • Monitor and report disorderly or suspicious behavior of individuals on hospital premises, taking appropriate action to control situations.
  • Oversee the proper functioning of fire extinguishers, other safety devices, and signs.
  • Report irregularities, problems, and maintenance issues such as lights left on, burned-out lights, or malfunctioning doors and locks.
  • Control access to designated areas and prevent unauthorized personnel from entering buildings after closing hours.
  • Maintain regular communication with other security guards and contact the shift supervisor as needed.
  • Respond to burglar and fire alarm activations, notify the security supervisor of the location and issue, and manage the alarm panel as directed.
  • Execute scheduled locking and unlocking of doors and respond to specific access requests.
  • Assist patients and visitors by providing directions, location information, and other service-oriented support.
  • Provide assistance to the Security team when called upon, and perform duties typically associated with a Security Supervisor as required.
  • Ensure, directly or indirectly, that a high standard of medical treatment, compassion, and understanding is provided to all patients at NMC Hospitals and Clinics.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of Secondary School Certification is required.
  • Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a security-related role.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Riyadh within a dynamic hospital environment. The role requires active patrolling and direct interaction with various individuals, including hospital staff, patients, and visitors, necessitating a vigilant and service-oriented approach.
