Security Operations Specialist

About the Role

Accelerec is seeking a Security Operations Specialist to join its dynamic security operations team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, onsite position involves working as a SOC L2 Analyst, focusing on safeguarding critical digital assets within the region. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to advanced threat detection and response efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze security alerts, escalating as necessary, to identify and mitigate potential threats and compromises.
• Conduct in-depth threat hunting exercises to proactively discover sophisticated and undetected malicious activities.
• Perform comprehensive log analysis across various security tools and systems to identify anomalies and indicators of compromise.
• Lead incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery, ensuring minimal business disruption.
• Execute vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and report on system weaknesses.
• Develop and refine security playbooks and procedures to enhance incident response efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to continuously improve defensive posture.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in security operations or a related field.
