The Senior Auditor Role

SW BMB&Co is seeking a Senior Auditor to join their full-time team in Riyadh. This role involves leading audit engagements and contributing to the firm's diverse service offerings. The Senior Auditor will be responsible for ensuring high-quality audit work and providing expert financial insights to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and leading audit engagements, including managing timelines and budgets.
• Reviewing the work of junior auditors to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Performing financial statement analysis and evaluating internal controls.
• Applying relevant accounting standards such as IFRS and local GAAP.
• Utilizing audit and accounting software, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.
• Presenting complex findings clearly and professionally to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Identifying issues and proposing practical solutions based on sound professional judgment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in external audit; experience with a Top 10 audit firm is preferred.
• Relevant experience in external audit, ideally at a public accounting or professional services firm.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CA, SOCPA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Experience with litigation support, tax, or advisory services is an advantage.
