About the Role

CNTXT is seeking a Senior Cloud FinOps Engineer to manage the company's financial exposure as a Google Cloud reseller. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, involves developing and operating a billing-data platform to enhance consumption visibility and implement control processes. The position will adhere to centralized FinOps practices and will serve as a reusable control layer as CNTXT expands into multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and operate billing-data pipelines (Cloud Billing export to BigQuery) across all online and offline billing IDs.
  • Design the consumption data model, including per-customer baselines, seasonality, and credit-consumption visibility.
  • Implement and tune anomaly detection against per-customer baselines, with alerting into the case workflow and documented triage SLAs.
  • Own the compromised-accounts process end-to-end, including detection, verification, containment, notices, recovery, and post-incident review.
  • Chair incident handling for suspected compromises, decide containment steps, and manage communication timelines to customers and Google.
  • Build the credit-claim discipline and its evidence-pack tooling, including consumption snapshots, timelines, and notification logs.
  • Handle abuse reports and alerting escalations with Google partner and abuse teams.
  • Report exposure, incidents, and recoveries to the Executive Management Team (EMT) monthly.
  • Provide contract inputs to Legal on enforceable cap clauses and back-to-back liability.
  • Work with Finance on reconciliation, exposure reporting, and collections.
  • Prepare the multi-cloud extension of monitoring and processes, and own the tooling roadmap and budget for the function.

Collaboration and Reporting

This individual contributor role provides functional guidance to the Billing Operations Analyst on daily monitoring and case triage. Regular contact will be maintained with Finance for reconciliation and reporting, Cybersecurity/GRC for policy alignment and risk, and Sales and Customer Success for incident communication. Occasional consultation with Legal will cover cap clauses and partner agreements. Monthly reports on exposure, incidents, and recoveries will be provided to the EMT. Interaction with Google partner and abuse teams will occur per incident for credit claims and abuse reports.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. Equivalent specialized experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience across cloud operations, FinOps engineering, revenue assurance, or fraud operations, with a hands-on build record.
  • Demonstrated track record of running incident or case processes with defined SLAs and executive reporting.
  • Experience in a hyperscaler partner ecosystem (*, Microsoft CSP or AWS Solution Provider) is a strong advantage.
  • Team or function leadership experience is a plus.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in the specified fields.

Location and Work Type
