Senior Commercial Manager

About the Role

Compass Project Consulting is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves leading commercial functions and providing strategic advice to senior stakeholders, ensuring robust financial management and contractual compliance within projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budget control, cost planning, procurement strategy, tender evaluation, and contract packaging.
• Manage cost reports, cash flow forecasts, change registers, risk allowances, and cost-to-complete analyses.
• Review payment applications, variations, claims, Extension of Time (EOT) cost impacts, and final accounts.
• Lead commercial negotiations, contract strategy development, and award recommendations.
• Provide expert advice on value engineering, cost optimization, procurement processes, and commercial risks.
• Ensure commercial governance and contractual compliance, while actively protecting the client's interests.
• Offer strategic commercial advice to senior stakeholders and support the achievement of investment objectives.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial management within the project consulting sector. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in financial oversight and strategic commercial guidance.

Experience

• A minimum of 17 years of relevant experience in commercial management.
