About Qiddiya and the Opportunity

Qiddiya Investment Company is a Saudi holding and development entity responsible for major investments in entertainment, sports, and culture. This includes the development of Qiddiya City and its associated destination offerings. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to a business that is shaping large-scale destination experiences in Riyadh, while ensuring the financial discipline, governance, and commercial oversight necessary for effective complex operations.

The Role of Senior Director Finance and Control

As the Senior Director - Finance and Control, you will lead a comprehensive function central to City Operations. This position is critical for aligning financial management, governance, risk protocols, procurement processes, and contract oversight with overarching operational priorities. The role carries significant cross-functional impact, requiring close collaboration with central teams to translate operational requirements into clear and effective financial and commercial processes that support performance, accountability, and control across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the centralized Finance and Control function for City Operations, encompassing finance, governance, risk, controls, procurement, and contract management.
Oversee the Finance, Governance Risk & Controls, and Contracts & Procurement teams, ensuring clear priorities, accountability, and effective operational methods.
Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost control activities for City Operations in coordination with the central Finance department.
Oversee invoicing, service charge management, cost recovery, and related controls to support operational performance objectives.
Coordinate with central functions, including Finance, Procurement, Legal, Risk, and Compliance, to address the specific requirements of City Operations.

Governance, Risk, and Procurement Oversight

Support the implementation of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, including relevant forums, policies, and standards.
Oversee business continuity planning and ensure that key operational risks are identified, monitored, escalated, and effectively mitigated.
Lead procurement and contract management oversight, ensuring that sourcing, approvals, vendor performance, and contract lifecycle activities align with company requirements.
Support the development of City Operations processes, procedures, delegation of authority requirements, and financial controls.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Senior Director position must possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in finance and control roles, ideally within large-scale operations or development projects.
