The company plays a pivotal role in shaping landmark destination projects, including the development and long-term operational planning for Qiddiya City.

The Role: Director - Finance and Control

As the Director - Finance and Control, you will be instrumental in strengthening the financial foundations of City Operations. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, focuses on translating operational priorities into clear financial plans, robust controls, comprehensive reporting, and actionable insights. The role requires close collaboration with finance and business stakeholders to support effective decision-making and disciplined execution across City Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial operations, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for City Operations, in coordination with QIC Finance.
• Develop service charge and cost recovery mechanisms, encompassing inputs, calculations, reporting, and cross-functional coordination.
• Develop and monitor financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), management information reporting, and performance insights to support leadership decision-making.
• Manage budget control and cost tracking across City Operations functions, identifying risks, variances, and cost optimization opportunities.
• Lead the vendor invoicing process in collaboration with City Operations teams and QIC central functions.
• Maintain asset registers and ensure general ledger integrity, including reconciliations, accruals, and period-close support with QIC Finance.
• Manage and control City Operations revenue streams by ensuring full utilization of revenue opportunities and accurate recognition and recording in the appropriate accounting period.
• Coordinate with Finance & Controls, City Operations functions, QIC Finance, and relevant stakeholders to align and implement financial processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
• A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in finance, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or operational finance.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience with service charge, cost recovery, or shared services financial models.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, cost control, variance analysis, and financial performance management.
• Deep knowledge of invoicing, general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, and period-close processes.
• Proven ability to translate operational needs into financial plans, reports, and actionable insights.
• Experience working effectively with City Operations leaders, central finance teams, senior leadership, and business unit counterparts.
