Senior Engineer

About the Role

Elm Company is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on supporting the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. The Senior Engineer will translate business requirements into technical solutions, configure and integrate applications, and resolve complex technical issues to ensure ERP availability, reliability, and continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Support ERP system and module implementation and deployment, aligning with approved business and technical requirements.
• Configure ERP application components and coordinate release activities, deployment readiness, and rollback arrangements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document ERP functional and technical requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Provide Level 3 (L3) technical support for escalated ERP incidents and service requests, investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot interfaces between ERP systems and other enterprise applications, platforms, and services.
• Monitor ERP availability, performance, and scheduled processing, investigating issues affecting business-critical services.
• Support ERP backup and recovery activities, participating in disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Conduct technical, system, integration, and regression testing for ERP implementations, changes, and enhancements.
• Support ERP enhancements and digital transformation initiatives, coordinating vendor support and maintenance activities.
• Maintain documentation of ERP configurations, technical solutions, interfaces, integrations, and operational procedures.
• Comply with all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and information security practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in ERP implementation, configuration, technical support, development, or systems integration.
• Relevant certifications in ERP platforms, systems integration, or IT service management are considered an advantage.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency in translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with configuring and integrating ERP applications.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and service procedures for incident, problem, and change management.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Single Sign-On (SSO) integration and access configurations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a team to ensure the stability and availability of ERP systems, coordinating with various technical and business stakeholders.
