About the Role

Johnson & Johnson MedTech, specifically its DePuy Synthes division, is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst DS MEA. This full-time position is primarily based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with consideration for candidates located in Jeddah. The role is instrumental in tracking the organization's financial performance and contributes significantly to financial communication strategies by leveraging insights from various key partners.

This position is central to financial forecasting, reporting, and the analysis of complex financial data, which will help guide strategic decisions and support overall strategy setting. Furthermore, the Senior Finance Analyst coordinates Saudi Arabia-specific processes and projects from a financial standpoint, offering high visibility, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to directly impact business performance during a period of transformation and growth.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Finance Analyst is responsible for a range of financial activities, partnering with commercial teams and stakeholders to drive profitable growth and ensure financial integrity. Key areas of focus include business partnering, financial planning and analysis, and internal controls.

Business Partnering

  • Partner with the commercial team to drive profitable growth and support key business decision-making.
  • Build and maintain business partner relationships with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
  • Provide financial insight and analysis to business partners, including evaluating business cases for tender, pricing, and investments, to support informed business decisions.
  • Challenge business assumptions, help develop alternative scenarios, and educate business partners on financial issues, concepts, and ownership.
  • Provide full support for Saudi-specific processes and projects in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Actively participate locally in business planning, budget updates, and latest thinking processes.
  • Continuously improve forecast accuracy across Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet (BS), and Cash Flow (CF) through a deep understanding of the MEA business and key projects impacting financials.
  • Provide input into the financial planning process by building and maintaining financial models.
  • Support financial closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Proactively review performance against targets and identify trends to highlight risks and opportunities for early intervention.

Internal Controls and Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to SOX, Worldwide Procedures (WWP), internal policies, and procedures.
  • Support compliance activities, including internal and external audits.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of experience in a finance or analytical role. This position requires a professional who can effectively partner with commercial teams, manage complex financial data, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly are essential for success in this role.
