About the Role

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst (SFA) for DePuy Synthes (DS) in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. Based in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, this full-time position is critical for tracking the organization's financial performance and contributing to financial communication strategies. The SFA plays a key role in financial forecasting, reporting, and the analysis of complex financial data to guide decisions and support strategy setting. This position also coordinates Saudi Arabia-specific processes and projects from a financial standpoint, offering high visibility and strong cross-functional collaboration during a period of transformation and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the commercial team to drive profitable growth and support key business decision-making.
  • Build and maintain business partner relationships with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
  • Provide financial insight and analysis to business partners, including evaluating business cases for tender, pricing, and investments.
  • Challenge business assumptions, help develop alternative scenarios, and educate business partners on financial issues, concepts, and ownership.
  • Provide full support for Saudi-specific processes and projects in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Actively participate locally in business planning, budget updates, and latest thinking processes.
  • Continuously improve forecast accuracy (P&L, BS, and CF) through a deep understanding of the MEA business and key projects impacting financials.
  • Provide input into the financial planning process by building and maintaining financial models.
  • Support financial closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Proactively review performance against targets and identify trends to highlight risks and opportunities for early intervention.
  • Ensure adherence to SOX, WWP, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Support compliance activities, including internal and external audits.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Typically requires 4 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or operational finance roles.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools (*, Power BI, Tableau) to build executive-facing dashboards and reports.

Company Context

Johnson & Johnson has announced plans to separate its Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The planned separation process is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months. Should you accept this position, it is expected that, following the conclusion of this transaction, you would become an employee of DePuy Synthes. Your employment would then be governed by DePuy Synthes' employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. Details of any planned changes will be provided by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time, subject to necessary consultation processes.

This is a full-time position located in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
