About the Role

Unison Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior FLEXCUBE Functional Consultant with specialized expertise in Islamic Banking. This contract position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves working on a significant banking project. The consultant will provide critical functional support across various project phases, from requirements gathering to production activities, ensuring solutions align with both FLEXCUBE capabilities and Islamic Banking principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise on FLEXCUBE with a specific focus on Islamic Banking.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from banking stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into appropriate FLEXCUBE functional solutions.
• Configure and support FLEXCUBE based on business and Islamic Banking requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams for solution design, customization, and integration.
• Support functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation, and production activities.
• Analyze and resolve functional issues, providing appropriate solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documents, and other project documentation.
• Participate in workshops and discussions with end-client stakeholders.
• Perform impact analysis for new requirements, enhancements, and change requests.
• Support product configuration and validation for Islamic Banking processes.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance, technical, business, and project management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide functional guidance and support to other team members as required.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in banking technology or core banking projects.
• Strong hands-on functional experience with FLEXCUBE.
• Proven experience as a FLEXCUBE Functional Consultant or Senior Functional Consultant.
• In-depth knowledge of Islamic Banking products, processes, and principles.
• Experience working on Islamic Banking implementation or transformation projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of core banking processes and FLEXCUBE functionality.
• Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, configuration, testing, and production support.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective FLEXCUBE functional solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to interact effectively with clients, business teams, and technical personnel.

Project Context

This is a contract position focused on a banking project within the financial sector. The role requires on-site presence in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, collaborating closely with client teams and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
