About Araamis and the Role

Araamis is seeking a Senior Governance Policy & Licensing Consultant to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This contract role involves leading the development of policies, standards, and governance frameworks related to licensing activities, alongside designing operating models and examiner frameworks in line with leading practices.

Core Focus of the Position

The consultant will play a critical role in establishing comprehensive governance structures and operational guidelines. This includes ensuring that all licensing processes and related materials adhere to high standards and regulatory compliance, contributing to effective and transparent operations within the government sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop policies and procedures governing licensing activities.
• Develop evaluation standards for books and educational materials.
• Design governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) frameworks.
• Develop Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Develop investor classification frameworks and pricing mechanisms.
• Develop operating models, templates, and documentation related to licensing activities.
• Design the examiner selection and management framework, including selection criteria, evaluation methodologies, contracting processes, and code of ethics.
• Review all project deliverables to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
• Participate in workshops and stakeholder meetings.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience of 5 to 10 years in government sector projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in the development of policies, regulatory manuals, and governance frameworks.

Work Arrangement and Location

This is a contract position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires on-site presence to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and project teams within the specified region.
