Senior Legal Counsel Litigations and Disputes

About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel - Litigations and Disputes to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role involves managing litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters across various business functions within the company. The position requires a professional with 8+ years of post-qualification legal experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop legal strategies and provide advice on complex disputes, claims, and investigations.
• Oversee external counsel and legal service providers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Review and assess potential legal risks, claims, and disputes, offering recommendations on mitigation and resolution strategies.
• Lead the preparation of legal submissions, case documentation, witness statements, and supporting evidence.
• Represent the Legal function in discussions, negotiations, mediations, and settlement processes.
• Provide legal support to business units on contentious matters, regulatory inquiries, and dispute prevention initiatives.
• Monitor litigation trends, legal developments, and emerging risks that may impact the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Law is required; a Master's degree and/or professional legal qualification is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of post-qualification legal experience, with a strong focus on litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
• Proven experience managing complex disputes within a leading law firm, a corporate legal department, or a combination of both.
• Experience in managing external counsel and coordinating multi-stakeholder legal matters.
• Knowledge of Saudi legal and judicial frameworks and dispute resolution processes is preferred.

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic legal team, contributing to the strategic management of disputes and legal risks for Qiddiya Investment Company.
