About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel specializing in Regulatory and Employee Advisory to join its legal team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role focuses on providing expert legal guidance on regulatory compliance and employment matters, ensuring the company operates within applicable laws and human resources best practices.

Role Purpose and Context

The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for navigating complex legal landscapes related to labor laws and regulatory frameworks. The position involves close collaboration with various departments, particularly Human Resources, to proactively manage legal risks throughout the employee lifecycle and ensure adherence to legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice on labor laws, employment regulations, and other regulatory requirements impacting company operations.
• Draft, review, and advise on employment contracts, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international labor laws.
• Support management in resolving complex employee relations issues, disputes, and disciplinary matters.
• Monitor legal developments in labor and employment law and assess their potential impact on the company.
• Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure effective management of legal risks across employee lifecycle processes.
• Represent the company in regulatory matters related to employment and liaise with governmental authorities as required.
• Conduct training and workshops for management and employees to enhance awareness of regulatory compliance and employment best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven ability to manage complex employee relations and regulatory compliance issues.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills in employment and regulatory matters.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including mentoring and guiding junior legal team members.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
