Role Overview: Senior Mechanic

We are seeking a qualified Senior Mechanic to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our mechanical systems through expert maintenance and repair work, contributing directly to our production goals.

Core Maintenance Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance work in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of production units to ensure operation within designated operational limits.
• Report any observations that may affect equipment efficiency to the relevant supervisor.

Equipment Management and Repair

• Identify the tools and equipment required for maintenance, assess their readiness, and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure their continuous availability.
• Organize and store maintenance tools in their designated locations, maintain them properly, and ensure proper disposal of maintenance waste.
• Carry out mechanical repair work such as welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts to ensure their readiness and efficiency.

Safety and Compliance

A fundamental aspect of this role is strict adherence to safety protocols. The Senior Mechanic must comply with all safety procedures before commencing work, including verifying the necessary permits and lockout/tagout forms to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel.

Additional Duties

In addition to the core responsibilities, the Senior Mechanic will perform any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor, contributing to the overall operational effectiveness and flexibility of the maintenance team at Yamama Cement Company.
