About the Role

Yamama Cement Company is seeking a Senior Mechanic to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of production units through comprehensive mechanical maintenance. The Senior Mechanic will be responsible for executing various maintenance tasks, upholding safety standards, and contributing to the overall reliability of equipment.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to perform critical mechanical maintenance work that supports the continuous and efficient functioning of the company's production units. This involves a proactive approach to maintenance, meticulous monitoring of equipment performance, and adherence to established operational and safety protocols to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance tasks in strict accordance with approved policies and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of production units to ensure operation within designated limits, promptly reporting any observations that could impact equipment efficiency.
• Identify necessary tools and equipment for maintenance activities, assess their readiness, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure their continuous availability.
• Organize and store maintenance tools in their designated locations, maintain them properly, and ensure the correct disposal of maintenance waste.
• Conduct mechanical repair work, including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts, to ensure their readiness and efficiency for use.
• Comply with all safety procedures prior to commencing work, which includes verifying required permits and lockout/tagout forms.
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Senior Mechanic will operate within the company's production facilities. The role demands a commitment to safety and operational excellence in a dynamic industrial setting.
