About Foodics and the Role

Foodics is seeking a Senior People Operations Specialist to join its team in Riyadh.

Role Overview

The Senior People Operations Specialist will manage and support People Operations activities across Foodics' portfolio in KSA, UAE, UK, and the wider MENA region. This full-time role ensures the seamless execution of payroll, benefits administration, employee lifecycle processes, compliance, and HR operations. The specialist will maintain strict adherence to local labor laws and statutory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end employee journey, including preparing and issuing legally compliant employment contracts and amendments.
  • Manage comprehensive onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Administer employee status changes, such as promotions, transfers, and related documentation.
  • Conduct offboarding procedures, including exit interviews, final settlements, and issuance of experience certificates.
  • Prepare, verify, and submit accurate payroll inputs (attendances, leaves, adjustments) for timely and error-free monthly payroll processing.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, specifically managing Medical/Health Insurance policy renewals, employee additions/deletions, dependent updates, and serving as the primary liaison for employee claim inquiries.
  • Maintain and audit employee data in the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring data integrity and providing expertise for system configuration, reporting, and queries.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all labor laws and regulations, including mandatory social insurance registrations, contributions, filings, and managing interactions with labor offices.
  • Regularly review and update HR policies, handbooks, and employment templates to reflect current legal requirements.
  • Contribute to developing, reviewing, and updating HR policies and procedures in line with legal mandates and industry best practices.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, payroll, and general HR matters, resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-4+ years of proven experience in People Operations, HR Generalist, or HR Operations roles, with a strong focus on payroll, benefits administration, employee lifecycle management, and compliance.
  • In-depth, hands-on experience managing mandatory social insurance programs and labor office procedures.
  • Extensive experience administering group medical insurance policies, including employee enrollments, terminations, renewals, and claims support.
  • High proficiency in HRIS platforms, payroll systems, and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of local labor laws, employment regulations, and statutory benefits requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
