About the Senior Planning Officer Role

Almarai Company, a leading food and beverage manufacturer in the MENA region, is seeking a Senior Planning Officer to join its operations. Headquartered in Riyadh, Almarai is recognized as the world's largest vertically integrated dairy company and a top FMCG brand. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and Al-Kharj, supporting the company's extensive supply chain network.

Role Overview and Objectives

The Senior Planning Officer is responsible for ensuring the alignment and availability of all necessary resources for Transport and Warehousing Operations. This role involves planning, running, and monitoring key operational systems, including SAP Maintenance, SAP Fury, YMS, SAP TM, and TMS Planning Scheduler, to ensure efficient and effective logistics execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee YMS, SAP TM, SAP Fiori, and TMS planning activities.
• Monitor and update reefer plans on a daily basis.
• Track daily warehouse movements and plan for additional material transfers as required.
• Coordinate resources effectively with Production, Transport, and Yard teams, including the planning of backloads and de-stuffing operations.
• Liaise daily with Inventory, Warehouse, Depot Logistics, and Supply Planning teams to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

• A diploma qualification in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar operational or planning environment.
• Fluency in English is required.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities and excellent reporting abilities, essential for managing complex logistics planning and execution.
