About the Role

topEngineer is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is responsible for planning and managing projects, overseeing all aspects of delivery to ensure objectives are achieved within defined timelines, scope, budget, and available resources. The role requires alignment with organizational goals and established policies and procedures.

Project Planning and Execution

The Senior Project Manager will lead the strategic and operational aspects of project delivery, including:

• Identify project and program objectives, success criteria, and acceptance measures to guide delivery and evaluation.
• Develop comprehensive execution plans, defining key milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and timelines.
• Estimate and prepare program budgets based on project scope and expected delivery requirements.
• Track project costs and monitor budget utilization, supporting required adjustments in case of scope, timeline, or resource changes.
• Utilize project management methodologies and tools to track milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Monitor delivery progress and ensure project activities are executed according to the approved plan.
• Conduct project assessments covering resource allocation, delivery readiness, and timeline development.

Risk Management and Stakeholder Engagement

A critical aspect of this role involves proactive risk management and fostering strong stakeholder relationships:

• Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project delivery, quality, timeline, or expected outcomes.
• Resolve project issues by coordinating with relevant stakeholders and escalating matters when required.
• Support proactive control of dependencies and constraints to enable successful program delivery.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and project team members.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide regular project updates, and address concerns or issues.
• Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Promote collaboration across internal teams and support coordination between delivery teams and business stakeholders.

Reporting and Continuous Improvement

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for comprehensive reporting and driving continuous enhancement of project practices:

• Conduct program evaluations to assess outcomes against objectives, success criteria, and stakeholder expectations.
• Identify lessons learned and improvement opportunities to enhance future project delivery.
• Support continuous improvement of project management practices, tools, and reporting methods.
• Prepare comprehensive program reports including progress updates, key metrics, risks, issues, and delivery status.
• Provide recommendations for future initiatives based on evaluation results, lessons learned, and delivery insights.
• Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with management and stakeholder requirements.

Compliance and Operational Standards

Adherence to established policies and standards is fundamental to this role:

• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls.
• Comply with all relevant information security practices and standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

Candidates for the Senior Project Manager position should possess the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• A minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in project management, program management, delivery management, or a related industry.
