About the Role

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong technical background in infrastructure and/or master planning to lead and oversee complex Land Development projects. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 5-10 years of experience. The position involves leading multi-disciplinary teams and driving significant land development projects from inception to completion, with a focus on projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Role Context and Focus

The successful candidate will possess extensive project management experience coupled with a strong technical understanding of Land Development disciplines, including master planning, infrastructure, transport planning, landscaping, and sustainability. Middle East experience is highly valued, along with the expertise to manage client relationships, project budgets, and resources effectively. The role may involve periodic travel to KSA if based in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Land Development Projects, including Master Planning, Transport Planning, Roads, Utilities, and Landscape, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Build and lead cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and motivation to achieve project goals.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understand their needs, and ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations while adhering to project budgets.
• Develop project budgets, monitor and control expenditures, and allocate resources efficiently to optimize project outcomes.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Develop a work breakdown structure, create schedules, and monitor project progress against the schedule, ensuring scope and deliverables are well-defined and managed.
• Manage and control project quality by implementing WSP processes and fostering a quality culture.
• Apply commercial and legal acumen to manage procurement activities, including Main Agreement Execution, Change Control, and supplier/subcontractor appointments.
• Establish stakeholder and communication management plans, ensuring efficient and accurate information flow in accordance with business protocols.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven project management experience on large and complex Land Development projects in the Middle East.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Land Development disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Utilities, Roads, Transport Planning, or Master Planning.
• A degree in a relevant Land Development discipline (*, Civil Engineering, Utilities, Roads, Transport Planning, Master Planning).

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Periodic travel may be required depending on project needs.
