Senior Risk Manager (M )

About the Role

Mace is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing and potentially leading the implementation and delivery of risk services for commissions, while also providing line management leadership and guidance to other team members within the PMO and Planning Centre of Excellence and assigned Hub.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion safety, wellbeing, inclusivity, and responsible delivery across all projects.
• Deliver projects through clear planning, robust quality systems, and strong stakeholder collaboration.
• Supervise change and commercial performance with integrity.
• Lead teams to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), share best practices, and develop potential within Mace.
• Lead risk management frameworks, strategies, and performance for assigned commissions.
• Partner with clients, consultants, and contractors to manage risks, mitigations, and opportunities.
• Deliver workshops, Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA), reporting, and assurance in line with Mace and client requirements.
• Mentor teams, integrate PMO/planning disciplines, and provide support.

Manage project delivery from inception through design, planning, procurement, and construction phases, adhering to the overall program and agreed milestones. Manage tasks and deliverables in support of senior leaders and project teams for timely and accurate project delivery.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Extensive experience delivering a range of project risk management services on major construction projects.
• Experience in effective risk leadership on complex construction projects.
• Experience in setting up effective risk management/assurance frameworks/strategies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of risk tools, techniques, and software (*, Active Risk Manager, riskHive, atrisk, Primavera Risk Analyser).
• Deep domain knowledge of providing risk leadership in one or more sectors (*, rail, highways, nuclear, public sector, hospitals).
• Good understanding of construction projects, dependencies, and interfaces within the project lifecycle.
